Applying for Membership:
To apply for a Five Oaks membership, you must fill out an application and mail or drop it off at the pool along with your $50 non-refundable application fee. Once the application and check are received, your name will be added to the bottom of the waiting list. No one will be put on the list without the application fee, and the fee is not credited toward your bond or dues when you are invited to join the pool. The term “bondholder” as used herein under shall be construed as referring to the holder of a Family Membership, Couple Membership, or Individual Membership, but not to any of the sub-class members coming under a Family Membership.**All new members must initially hold a family membership and maintain an active family membership until there is an available special membership (Couple, Single, Senior Couple, Senior Single). There may be a wait list for the special membership as there are a limited number available. The waiting list is posted on our website and is updated periodically. It is about a 2 year wait for membership. You can monitor your position on the list and gauge when you will be invited to be a member. Usually, the top 30 names on the waiting list are invited to join the pool in the fall or winter. Sometimes more names are invited to make up for shortfalls in our membership or because people on the list will not be interested in membership when they finally receive an invitation. When you receive an invitation to join you have about 2-3 weeks to mail in your bond fee. The bond fee currently is $750. Membership dues (these are in addition to the bond) are as follows:
- Family – $745.00
- Couple- $640.00
- Single – $595.00
- Senior Couple – $505.00 (both must be over 65)

Guest Fees
When bringing guests, the member must be present on the pool grounds with their guests and the member is responsible for their guests. The guest fees also apply to non-swimming guests.
- $8 During the week
- $10 On weekends
- $2 Children under 2 (at all times)
- $5 After 5:00PM
- $12 On Holidays- Memorial Day, 4th Of July & Labor Day – All Day – there is no discount after 5:00 PM
Cash and checks ONLY – Credit Cards are not accepted.
Nanny/Babysitter Pass is available for $25 per week or $150 for the season.
Swim Test
Who needs to take a swim test?
- Swimmers who wish to go in water over their heads, on the slide, and/or on the diving boards.
What is the Swim Test?
- 1 minute of treading water, followed by swimming one length of the pool without stopping, demonstrating some stroke – at no point can the swimmer be vertical in the water.
- It is up to the lifeguards discretion to pass a swimmer.
Rules of the Swim Test
- One attempt per day
- NO GOGGLES
- Parents cannot swim alongside child
- Taken with a Five Oaks Lifeguard (one who is not in the chair)
To complete the swim test, please see a lifeguard in the office to see when a lifeguard is available to watch the child complete the test.
